Kathline Carr has work in the Hoosic River Watershed Association's “Riverworks 2020” in Williamstown, MA. The exhibition runs September 26 - October 3, with an opening reception Saturday, September 26, 10am - 2pm.
Denise Driscoll has a solo show, “Influence” at Julie Heller Gallery East at 2 Gosnold Street, Provincetown, MA. The exhibition runs October 2-16 with an opening reception October 2 from 6 - 8 pm during the Provincetown Art Stroll.
Georgina Lewis has work in the show “Home,” curated by Nicole Rademacher at Acogedor Space in LA. The exhibition runs from September 1 until October 3 and is all online due to COVID. Once the show goes live it may be viewed at http://acogedor.space/gallery/
Vicki McKenna has twenty images in “Portrait of a Community” at the Community Building of the United Christian Church in Lincolnville, ME. The building is located at 18 Searsmont Road, Lincolnville Center, ME. The exhibition is scheduled to run from June through the Fall. The exact opening date and reception are dependent on Maine’s guidelines for opening non-essential businesses.
Virginia Mahoney has work in “Created Equal“ at Arlington Center for the Arts, 20 Academy St., Arlington, MA. The exhibition runs September 25 - November 6 with a virtual opening reception October 8, 7-8 p.m.
Ponnapa Prakkamakul has work in a SoWa Pop-up gallery at 460 Harrison Building C Unit 8C (Basement Level). The show runs from September 19-October 12 by appointment, with a reception on First Friday, October 2.
Prakkamakul has a new mural on view at Mae Asian Eatery at 781 Main Street in Cambridge, MA. The restaurant is open Tuesday-Saturday, 11-2.30 and 4.30-8.30pm.
Prakkamakul has work in the Small Stones Festival of the Arts online exhibition with one piece included in a print catalog. The exhibition starts on October 1 with an award ceremony on October 23 from 7-8.30pm.
The 3-person exhibition “Flickering at the Edge of Anthropocene,” curated by Darren Lee Miller, will feature work by photographers Barry Underwood and Kathy Vajda and video installation art by Allison Maria Rodriguez. These three artists contemplate our entry into the Anthropocene, an era when human activity is the dominant influence on the environment. This exhibition will take place at Blockfort Gallery in Columbus, Ohio from October 2 - November 21. You can access the exhibition catalog here.
The Society for Photographic Education‘s South Central Chapter Conference will host a panel discussion featuring curator Darren Miller and artists from "Flickering at the Edge of Anthropocene" (including Rodriguez) on Saturday October 25 from 11:30am - 12:15pm. This year's conference, titled "To Be Continued . . ", aims to facilitate a public conversation concerning the inherently political nature of art-making and art education and the marginalization and oppression of individuals in pursuit of those endeavors. The conference runs from October 22 - October 25 and will be virtual this year.
Melissa Shaak is one of three artists creating a collaborative painting live, in-gallery, as part of "Jamaal Eversley's Real F.R.I.E.N.D.S" exhibition at Beacon Gallery in Boston's South End. The exhibition runs through November 1, 2020.
Rebecca Skinner has work in "In the Moment" at Rocky Neck Art Colony. This online exhibition is August 1-October 15, 2020.

Susan Greer Emmerson has work in the Members’ Show at Gallery 263 in 263 Pearl St., Cambridge, MA. The exhibition runs Sept. 17 - Oct. 17. Gallery hours are W - F, 4 - 7 pm, and Sat 1 - 4 pm. This is an in-person show, but has no opening reception.
Shany Porras’ work, Translation No. 1 of “Les Folies d’Espagne” (M. Marais), is part of a juried exhibit titled “In the Zone,” online at Morini Gallery, September 1-December 31. "In the Zone" is curated by Fountain Street Gallery’s Core Member Denise Driscoll.
Porras will participate in the online Brookline Open Studios & Marketplace starting October 1. A selection of paintings will be sold to support the Brookline Art Center. For information: Brookline Open Studios site.
Porras, along with a dozen other artists, will paint plein air at the Framingham Centre Common to produce paintings for auction to benefit the Framingham History Center. Plein air painting will be on October 3 from 1 - 4 p.m. The limited-time auction will run from October 7 (10:00 a.m.) to October 8 (8:00 p.m.). More details to follow.

Kristiina Roberts Almy has work in The 26th Annual Juried Exhibition at Zullo Gallery located at 456A Main Street, Medfield, MA. The exhibition runs September 19-November 7. Zullo Gallery hours: Saturday and Sunday, 12-5pm.
Jamaal Eversley’s “Real F.R.I.E.N.D.S” is a group exhibition presented by Boston’s Beacon Gallery. Eversley convened the twelve featured artists, created collaborative pieces with each one, and conceptualized the show to demonstrate the power of friendship through art making. “Real F.R.I.E.N.D.S” celebrates how the best relationships are ones built on trust and understanding, with a touch of humor, playfulness, and flexibility thrown in. The exhibition, which includes painting, metalworking, ceramics, textile, poetry and mixed media creations, will run September 4—November 1.
Miller Opie’s artwork in the 70th A-ONE national competition at Silvermine Arts Center in New Canaan, CT has received the Mollie & Albert Jacobson Sculpture Award. Part of this honor is a membership to the Silvermine Guild of Artists. An online gallery viewing is on their website.
Dennis Stein has a solo show at Percival Brewing, 83 Morse St., Norwood, MA. It runs through the end of October. See Percival Brewing website for hours.
Rebecca McGee Tuck has her piece "Regarding Coral" in the 2020 Emerging Artists Exhibition presented by Cambridge Art Association. The exhibition runs from October 6-29 at the Kathryn Schultz Gallery in Cambridge MA with an opening on October 8 at 6:30 via Zoom.
Tuck has work in "Red, White, and Blue" at the Loading Dock Gallery in Lowell, MA. The exhibition runs from October 2- November 1 with a reception to be held along with the 6th (TBD whether it will be online or in person).
Tuck has a sculpture, "Mare, Terra, Vento," in the Art Ramble 2020 Water Change: Where Spirit, Nature, and Civilization Meet in the Hapgood Wright Town Forest in Concord MA. This outdoor sculpture exhibit is hosted by the Umbrella Visual Arts Center. The exhibition runs from September 1- November 8 with small artist talks planned throughout September taking the place of an opening.
Tuck has work in The Eighth Annual One: A Members' Exhibition at ArtsWorcester's main gallery. The exhibition runs in person and online from September 10- November 8.
Tuck's work is also in "Go Outdoors," a public art installation of painted doors on the The Bruce Freeman Rail trail in Concord, MA. The doors will be displayed along the bike trail from July 1- November 1.
