“I'm interested in aliens, alienation, & inappropriate intimacy. No More Dog is an animation made by drawing each frame by hand before scanning & assembling digitally”

“Bridging the gap and extending a legacy in contemporary forms of video art and choreography, Space Slit creates freedom of space choreographically within the space of video.”

About the artist:

Callie Chapman is a choreographer and media designer from the USA who has been integrating digital media and technology into her creative practice and dance performances for two decades. She has worked as a media/projection designer for a wide range of dance, theatre and opera productions. Callie is a producer, teacher and facilitator with extensive experience of setting up new initiatives. In 2016, Callie created Studio at 550 - a multidisciplinary art space in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Throughout 2021 she has been running a project to recycle empty shop spaces into creative spaces for artists.
