BREAKING THE RULES features the twenty-eight artists who collaboratively maintain daily gallery operations. Working in media from painting to digital art, these individual artists collectively form a community that is Fountain Street. This show questions the social role of the artist in regard to establishing and/or challenging cultural norms, as well as the artist’s personal relationship to that role within their own art-making practice
