“My path as an artist has wound through medical school, surgery training, and 17 years of practice as a surgeon in Illinois. I had always wanted to go to art school so I retired early and went for my BFA and MFA. My MFA brought me to Boston and I fell in love with the city - so much history, art and other interesting things to discover. I first joined Fountain Street Gallery as a core member when they were in Framingham. I followed them to Boston and was a core member here initially but felt I was better suited for an associate membership at this time. I love being part of Fountain Street because it is so well run and there is such a wonderful cooperative and enthusiastic spirit amongst the members.”
