“I have been a core member of Fountain Street Gallery since 2013. I joined after being invited to be in a group show and immediately felt welcomed by a group of talented, motivated and organized artists. The founding directors, Cherie Clinton and Marie Craig were committed to making the gallery in Framingham an exciting art destination and in fact it did become a gallery where artists and collectors gathered. My show was up in the gallery when the town of Framingham closed the building and therefore closed my show. I was devastated after working for two years towards this show. Leadership acted quickly and we soon found that we were moving into the SOWA district in Boston. It has been a wise move and we have taken on some wonderful new artists. I am always impressed by the quality of the work and the stimulating ideas brought forth by the exhibitions. ”
