“My Pretty Young Thing/Women Americana series mixes the American landscape with accents of portraiture and the glimmer of adventure that’s inside every 20-something year old. These are women on the verge of figuring out their lives and being a part of something bigger than themselves. Expressed isthe delicate melding and balance of vulnerability and confidence. 

Like drifting through memories, the photographs have been taken over the past five years, (driving from San Diego to Massachusetts) and have been reworked into digital collages. Earlier images carry Western undertones. I now see my Northeast roots coming through with my latest pieces in the series.”
