Meet: Linda DeStefano Brown, Nan Hass Feldman
Linda DeStefano Brown
Linda DeStefano Brown received her Bachelor of Fine Art from Eastern Michigan University where she worked exclusively with black and white film. She now creates digital imagery, both in color and in black and white. Her work has been shown extensively in eastern Massachusetts. Her work is highly influenced by Henry David Thoreau’s statement, “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.”
Nan Hass Feldman
Nan Hass Feldman has been a full-time artist for over 40 years. Her works, whether Landscapes or Interiors are interpreted through her screen of selective seeing, playful detail, heightened color, and bits of fantasy. Nan’s work is always vibrantly colorful, intricate, enlivening, and upbeat. For Nan, art really is about enhancing and interpreting reality to create a more optimistic and joyous world. Nan’s work has been collected in seven countries, holds a BFA, MA, MFA degrees, teaches in three art museums, runs international painting programs, and runs the Artist Loft on a cruise ship.
